20 Times Harder. Zero Interest in Subtlety.
Fortis just took their Marinemaster and gave it a serious upgrade with DLC coating.
The new "Gravity Black" and "Black Resin" models feature a Dianoir DLC finish, boasting a hardness of 4,500 Vickers. That's about 20 times tougher than your standard stainless steel. These aren't just watches; they're built like tanks.
The case is recycled stainless steel with black DLC, measuring 44mm across and 14mm thick. Water resistance hits 500 meters, so it's ready for more than just a splash. The bi-directional bezel uses the Fortis Lock-System to keep things secure.
Inside, you'll find the Swiss automatic Fortis caliber Werk 11, developed with Kenissi. It offers a 70-hour power reserve and runs at 28,800 vph. COSC-certified, of course. The movement's got variable inertia regulation and an oversized bridge for extra stability.
The dial is black with Fortis' O-pattern and white indices coated in SuperLuminova. Hands come in silver or gold-plated options, also lumed up for visibility.
A black FKM rubber strap with a DLC-coated pin buckle completes the package. It's all held together with a screw pin-system.
These are serious tools for serious conditions. You’ll know if they’re for you.
