Henri Grandjean & Cie steps into high horology with a nod to its roots, not a rehash of the past.

The Magician collection is their first foray, drawing from the legacy of Swiss chronometer pioneer Henri Grandjean. This isn't about looking back; it's about carrying forward a tradition of precision and subtlety. The focus here is on detail and proportion, not excess.

At its core is an in-house movement featuring a mysterious triple-axis tourbillon. It appears to float, rotating on three axes with speeds that create a mechanical dance: 10 seconds, 18 seconds, and 60 seconds per rotation. It's an engineering feat that challenges typical mechanics.

Each watch case is uniquely engraved, showcasing interlaced motifs and bespoke typography that nod to the brand's heritage. Available in 18kt rose or white gold, or Grade 5 titanium, these cases measure 45mm by 16mm. Some editions even add baguette-cut diamonds and sapphires for those who want more sparkle.

Inside, you'll find a manual-wind caliber with 29 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve. Finishing touches include Geneva stripes and hand beveling—details that matter to collectors who know what they're looking at.

Dial options range from black onyx to aventurine or rose gold, paired with central date and day-night indicators. The hands come in blued or polished steel or gilded finishes. Straps are leather with matching buckles.
