W&W 2026 - Credor Goldfeather Tourbillon
No Drama. Just Precision.
Seiko's Credor Goldfeather isn't about making a splash. It's about doing things right.
The Credor Goldfeather, reference GBCF997, is a limited edition of 25 pieces that takes the idea of a dress watch and refines it to its essence. At 38.6mm in hand-polished platinum and just 8.6mm thick, it's thin and light, as the name suggests. But this isn't just about dimensions; it's about execution.
Inside is the manual-wind Caliber 6850, an ultra-thin movement that's been around for three decades but still feels fresh. It's not just the specs—22 jewels, 21,600 vph, and a 60-hour power reserve—that matter here. It's the engraving technique that sets it apart. Each tool is adjusted to fit the artisan's hand, allowing for precise engraving without compromising the movement's integrity. That's not easy when parts are as thin as 0.25mm.
The dial is where things get interesting. Feather-like engravings radiate from the center, catching light in a way that's both subtle and striking. Roman numerals are sharply defined but don't overpower the radial pattern. The minute track uses "Nanako" engraving—a series of finely aligned dots that add a touch of brilliance without shouting for attention.
It comes on a dark blue crocodile leather strap with a platinum clasp. Water resistance is 30 meters—not that you'll be swimming with it.
Limited to 25 pieces and priced at $215,000, it's available in August 2026. This isn't for everyone. You'll know if it's for you.
